CUMBERLAND
Built in 1937 by Lawrence and Holford, this home is perched high above the hills with sweeping views of Portland and Mount Hood.
This residence was tired and suffering from bad bathroom remodels of the 70s. All bathrooms were taken down to the studs and recreated from within the existing footprint. New cabinetry, plumbing, finishes and lighting were all addressed and remodeled.
Additionally, by relocating the basement staircase, it allowed us to create a larger kitchen footprint with a better flow and open up a seating room across from the kitchen.
This project was successful, creating an ease about the space and encouraging sophisticated, yet casual Northwest living.
